CIRIA updates guide to cost standards for dredging equipment

The Construction Industry Research & Information Association (CIRIA) in the UK has pulished an update to its cost standards for dredging equipment.
A guide to cost standards for dredging equipment 2009 (C684) is for use by all stakeholders in dredging projects, including; consultants, existing and potential clients, project financiers, insurers and dredging contractors.
The publication offers a standard method to establish the capital and related costs of various types of dredging plant and equipment commonly in use. This guide gives the replacement value for ex-works, yard or importer and exclusive of VAT, in Europe on 1 January 2009 for several types of dredging equipment.
The cost standards indexation 2010 is now available to download. The values given in this publication have been indexed as per 1 January 2010.
