Profile: PD Teesport Limited are inviting expressions of interest from applicants who are suitably qualified and experienced in the design, construction, fitting out, launch (complete in every respect including testing and classification), delivery of and the maintenance of under warranty, a steel split-hull multi-purpose vessel to serve within the port service fleet of PD Teesport Limited.
The contract is for a 1-year vessel build and 2 year warranty. The key features of
this vessel will be: Steel construction; Twin screw arrangement; Split hull configuration; MCA category 2 operation to Lloyds SSC for plan approval; 100 tonne metre hydraulic knuckle-boom crane; 50 tonne twin barrel deck winch; Minimum speed of 8 knots at 95 % maximum continuous rating (MCR); Capability to effectively operate a 10 metre dredge plough at a depth of up to 25 metres; Bollard pull not less than 14 tonnes; Adequate deck area for buoy maintenance activities but in any event a minimum of 8 metres by 10 metres; Storage tanks for recovered oils; Twin spud-legs with hoists; 19-21 metre LOA; Heavy duty construction
