Description: NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, Incorporated, 3719 Industrial Road, P.O. Box 1528, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39581 for the repair of the Dredge McFARLAND Cont rollable Pitch Propeller Blades (8 blades total). These blades are being repaired utilizing drawings which are proprietary to Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, Incorporated and are not available through dealers or distributors. Delivery of theBlades is schedule d on or before December 31, 2003. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract award will be made on the basis of this notice. This notice does not constitute a solicitation document. Requests for suchdocuments will no t be considered. However, all information received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered SOLELY for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination bythe Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this ac quisition is 332997, with a size standard of 500 employees.
