Jan de Nul wins contract to dredge Aniva Bay LNG terminal

International dredging contractor reports that it has been awarded a contract to dredge and deepen the LNG terminal at Aniva Bay, south of Sakhalin Island.

The company said the hard soil involved is being dredged by the cutter suction dredger Leonardo da Vinci and pumped into the 33,000m Vasco da Gama for disposal at an approved offshore dumping location.
