Profile: Expressions of interest are invited from experienced and bona fide contractors for the following works: 1. Construction of a dyke with geo-tubes,geo-textiles and other construction materials along the foreshore between Balari Tower and Jiggerkhali Obelisk at Haldia, India - 10km long (approx); 2. Capital dredging of a channel of about 10km long having bottom width of 200m at dredging depth of 4.5m below Chart Datum with 1:15 slope and shore disposal of dredged material within dyked area at a distance of about 2.5km; 3. Trimming of Western face of Nayachara Island and disposal at a distance of 3km (maximum) at the East of Southern Guide Wall to be constructed by other agency.

Tender details: Tender documents will only be sold to bidders who possess the requisite experience in carrying out Capital Dredging Work with Shore Disposal of 100 Crore (1 Crore = 10m Rupees) or its equivalent in any one year duringthe last five years under a single contract. The firm should also have experience in the construction of dykes/groynes with geo-tubes and geo-textiles in tidal conditions of 10 Crore during the last five years under a single contract.
