International Conference on Port and Maritime R&D, September 10-12 2003
The 2nd International Conference on Port and Maritime R&D and Technology will be held in Singapore September 10-12th.
It is organised by a broad base of universities, technological institutes and maritime academies from Singapore, as well as the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore, and supported by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore as well as many international organisations such as the IMO, IAPH, PIANC, EADA, IHO and IALA.
The theme of the conference is "Challenges for the Next Decade" and papers will be presented on: port development, management and operations; coastal/hydraulics engineering; marine environment; innovative ship designs and operations; and navigation and maritime training.
In conjunction with the conference, an exhibition featuring the latest R&D and technological products, systems and services in the port and maritime industries will take place.
