Dredging of River Benue to get under way
The Federal Government in Nigeria has announced that it planning to commence dredging of the River Benue, in order to pave way for movement of people and goods into the North central geo-political zone.
Minister of Transport, Dr Abiye Sekibo said plans had been concluded for the revitalisation of Makurdi Port.
The Federal government plans to spend about N28 billion dredging the Rivers Benue and Niger.
